Big sister had a turn in front of the camera today. She’s becoming quite easy to photograph (much more cooperative than she used to be). We scouted a new location and before I knew it she had pulled me into her world. We were on an adventure exploring… first as pirates then as horses. The greatest adventure of the day was stumbling upon some train tracks just as a train was about to pass. My girl and I were able to stand to the side of the tracks (way way way off to the side) and feel the rush of wind as the engine sped past. I’m not going to lie… It was quite a thrill.
She’s getting to be so fun to take out.
And the, “Mommy I’m done with this” face…

I am a bit excited right now; riding the thrill from this past weekend and meeting my first little nephew. I am officially, by blood, an AUNT! I’ve been an “aunt” to several little loves for a few years and on June 1st it became official in the annals of history.
The crowds awaiting Gibson’s arrival.
Beware, a throng of pictures of newborn sweetness is to follow.
Esther wanted to hold him so badly.
Brothers and their babies.
Congratulations Marshall and Darcy! Welcome to the world, little Gibson.
This precious one was nothing short of a true surprise to his mommy and daddy. Paperwork and a home-study completed in record time, God painted the beautiful picture of adoption for this sweet family. Noah is one blessed little boy. … Continue reading
I.cannot.wait! I’ll be getting my very own nephew in about a month and I am excited! I’ll get baby snuggles and I won’t have to go through labor for it! Can it get better than that? My lovely sister-in-law, Darcy … Continue reading
Oh, Ezra. It’s been quite a while since those sleepy newborn pictures at your grandma’s house.
My, how you’ve grown.
I thought it would be a fun to share a few of my favorite Ezra pictures from each birthday (all 2 of them) since his birth.
12 month Ezra:
I just love those baby blues.
He is such a stud!
Ezra’s second year pictures were taken out at his house on his parents’ property where we patiently waited for those priceless images that make a mama’s heart melt.
This family is so much fun. Thank you for letting me help capture so many of your little man’s expressions. I have loved watching him grow!
Some close friends and I went out for some casual and fun family pictures and I couldn’t be more excited with how they’ve turned out.
A beautiful family always makes for a great subject, and this family is just as sweet as they are easy to photograph.
The energy bundled up in those precious little packages is impossible to measure.
Their mama had better prepare though, she’s hiding #4 in there.
If you’re interested in having me help create photos of your family that you’ll love, please contact me. I have 3 sessions open this month and would love to make your family one of them.
