Spring 2018

Molly contacted me about maternity photography for their second baby boy. We met at my forever favorite park, Dorothy B. Oven, and walked and snapped pictures of her, her husband, and soon-to-be big brother, William.  The day was perfect despite rain ALL WEEK that kept us on our toes up until just before their session time. I’m so glad it held off for the morning, because the slightly overcast sky is always the best lighting in my opinion.

I watch the weather like a hawk since most of my family and maternity session are done outdoors. If you live here in Florida, you know how finicky the rain can be. Pouring one minute, dry and sunny the next.  Le sigh, it’s always an adventure.

Thank you for hanging with me Molly. Your photos turned out PERFECTLY.

Mother’s Day, 2015

Happy Mother’s day to the mommies celebrating their first mother’s day with a new baby. Some of these little ones made their mama’s a mommy this year, while others of them helped make it sweeter by joining their siblings. To each of the mom’s represented here, for all you do: the diapers you change, the tears you wipe, the tummies you fill, cuddles you give, sweet shampoo you rub gently onto tiny soft heads, pacies you find in the dark, cheeks you stroke, socks you match, and the bounce-and-sway motion you’ve adopted in everyday life… your little ones are learning to trust you, to love you. You’re doing amazing work and I hope you are told it often. You are incredible, mama.

Happy Mother’s day.

And because I’m a sappy mess this year with a new little one of my own, I’m celebrating all those milestones along with you. As my mother’s day gift to you, please enjoy 50% off any purchases from your newborn, baby plan, maternity, or family session gallery taken in 2014/2015. If you’re gallery is no longer active, I’ll gladly reactivate it so you can take part in this gift. Email me at sarah@sarahgray.net and let me know which gallery you’d like to order from.

*Mother’s day sale good until midnight, May 13, 2015.

Little Anderson will make his appearance so so soon and I cannot WAIT to meet him!  I photographed big brother Raleigh when he was born and can’t believe it’s time for this amazing family to add another one to the mix.  Elizabeth is one of my dearest friends and I’m honored to be able to photograph this sweet season of anticipation.Sarah Gray Photography | Tallahassee, FL maternity photographer Sarah Gray Photography | Tallahassee, FL maternity photographer Sarah Gray Photography | Tallahassee, FL maternity photographer Sarah Gray Photography | Tallahassee, FL maternity photographer Sarah Gray Photography | Tallahassee, FL maternity photographer Sarah Gray Photography | Tallahassee, FL maternity photographer

This sweet family is so very dear to me.  I was fortunate enough to meet them about 3.5 years ago and have been in a small group with them at our church ever since.  They are a treasure to me. … Continue reading
